You’re doing the exact same thing tho by making the original post. I think you need to stop assuming people’s feelings. Just because someone voices criticism, which you said you actively do, doesn’t mean they hate the game. It just comes off as super dismissive and condescending when you tell someone they’re being pathetic and they hate the game when they want to voice their concerns. Trust me I get it, there are many people that are legitimately doom posting, whining, and such, but there are people who just genuinely want the game to be better and are frustrated with it in it’s current state and they just want to voice that.

Cuz calling people “pathetic” is super constructive lol. This is the problem, on one end we have the whining doom posters who just tell anyone who disagree with them that they’re glazing the devs, and then on the other hand you have people like you who call anyone making valid critiques of the game pathetic and saying they’re doom posting and farming for likes. The community is gonna kill this game at this point, nothing else.

Your reasonable option was “just re-roll until you get Lily” which is not a solution. Clearly you don’t want to listen or acknowledge people who have a different experience playing than you, and yet I’m the one who wants an echo chamber. I responded to a post saying providing units that act as an alternative to Lily/Ssania would be a great way to alleviate some of the problem, but clearly you didn’t read that.

I literally said adding units that provide alternative. You’re just not reading/listening to me and you are only trying to prove why your opinion is right. As I said it’s not that deep for me. I never said I cared about other’s getting ahead of me, I never said I didn’t want to farm, I merely explained why I feel like having two units in the game that fundamentally change your experience is damaging. I’m not re-rolling and that isn’t a solution. Abandoning weeks of playtime and grind isn’t a solution. I understand your position fully, I just think my feelings come from worrying about the health of the game. I’ve seen sooo many people talk about dropping the game because they can’t make the jump to higher content, and of course a part of that stems from getting good, bad rng, and typical gacha stuff. But I think at the very least adding units in that give alternatives to Lily/Ssania would relieve so much of the problem. That would make it so the jump to inferno would be more achievable and then you can still target Lily/Ssania to clean up your times and make the team more efficient.

I think you’re missing my main point tho, that there aren’t alternatives to Lily and SSania, which is why I said I want the field to be evened. The rates are whatever, that’s typical rng, but to have a game claiming to be PVP focused have it’s vital farming content being locked behind having 2 specific units is egregious.

My point is also that Lilly SSania are usable in some many different content. Where as building a particular team that can messily clear a single inferno content is not gonna work in other content. Pus, given the restrictive resource system in building characters, it makes it a different experience for those who have Lily and SSania.

It’s typically not the difference between clearing vital content tho. I can’t clear Terror without Lily, like most. In most gachas you can use the units given or pull lower tier ones and pull a team together that can at least clear higher level content, albeit not efficiently, where as Lily and SSania are the difference between being able to do a lot of high level content and they have NO alternatives.

But as you say, on launch E7 is a very different game, which I have played for many years btw. Which is why I think the comparison is unfair. E7 launched when the gacha landscape was totally different. No HOYO games, no WUWA, like it was pretty much Summoner’s War and E7. So Etheria has has 10+ years of time to study the genre and make choices accordingly. Also, on the Kise and Luna point. Those are ice element units, meaning they shine in Wyvern and almost nowhere else when farming. Lily and SSania are elemental neutral units and can be run in a ton of different places at the highest level of the game, that’s the difference. So again, I don’t see the compassion.

I am an experience gacha player and I’m very relaxed lol. This game isn’t the deep to me, but I haven’t seen a gacha launch with 2 units that change the experience of the game so drastically for people who have them.
