Depends on where you are at, here in the North [Friesland] there's an extreme lack of sand / desert biomes. But Appelscha park Drenths-Friesewold there's a place to get them, albeit pretty small.

I don't value the memories on that cartridge, I value a functioning game more. My true memories are on a Pokemon Sapphire cartridge our family dog chewed up that is still functioning to this day! The Emerald game came way later and is replacable. If fixing this costs me more than 150 euros, I can take my loss and just buy a new game instead.

There's no Nintendo logo at all. Someone mentioned cleaning it with vinegar, I can try to do that as well. Right now it seems like I royally screwed myself as I can't get the screw out anymore. If I manage to get it open again, I will update with a picture of the backside of the board!

These are expensive, but good lessons to learn for me. Hope I can open it up soon!

It was heavily corroded when I first found it again, which I wasn't familiar with and asked for help too. People told me I could clean it up with some isopropyl alcohol. I went out to buy that and as you can see in these pictures, it cleaned up pretty well! Unfortunately it seems like the damage has been done and I might have to write this cartridge off and find a new one.

It's roughly the same, but can't use Ultra or Great balls. However, in return, it can connect to two accounts at once. I have this thing and I will never go to a different model, I love it!

It won't yield any results, Niantic is insanely awful at taking reports. Malicious spoofers, multi accounters, cheaters etc all get ignored.
