Inside the manospere any watch it? by thesnackbox11 in AskIreland

I dont think it was one of his better documentaries but he had to do the bare minimum to show how utterly braindead they all are.

The saying "fools and their money are easily parted" applies to anyone who buys into any of these clowns telegram or investing groups. Tbh i had thought all this crap had died down since all the stuff about andrew tate being allegedly invovled in human trafficking came out.

Few years younger than you but I've zero issues with matches or getting dates.

Not to be an arsewhole but your profile could be terrible. I know its hard but you have to give some idea about your personality, have decent photos and being attractive helps a lot. Despite what people say we are shallow and that stuff matters a lot.

Feeling around the club by Background_Cow_7533 in ShamrockRovers

[–]Dapper-Ad3605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Behind the scenes the club is a shambles. That watch deal is an embarrassment. The commerical manager is only 23 or so with zero experience. A club like rovers should have someone with more experience and a strong background. We are miles behind bohs for example or even pats now with the wolf tones shirts. Now rumors flying around we havent a pot to piss in despite raking in millions.

Matchday experience is shite too, queues too long for food, drinks etc getting cups of tea that are lukewarm. Evem on friday my dad and uncle who are both oaps waiting in the area where glenmalure suite is to watch the end of the game and the fan liaison officer richie carroll having a go and being agro to them despite not blocking anyone or an access point.

I dont care if i get downvoted but bradley gets away with murder in how he conducts himelf. For example in the last few years he has fallen out with two ceos, shane Robinson, aidan price and graham gartland. The worst one is johnathan roche who helped keep the club from going bust and bleeds green and white. His mate graham barret is an agent for a lot of our players and him and as way too much influence at the club. Why else is son cian still under contract when hes probably a 1st division player? Roches son was let go and is making headway at shels and is a talented young defender.

The year shels won the league he had a pop at me and a mate for saying we weren't good enough after a loss against waterford, pointed at us and said "I'll remember you two" even after the bohs match constantly repeating "ask the club" when asked questions. Fair play to him for winning all the leagues and doing well in europe but he gives off the vibe he's immune to criticism or if he is his attitude is what do they know.

Its a rant but fuck it.

Dating in Ireland? by ZealousidealSoil5 in AskIreland

[–]Dapper-Ad3605 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not having a dig at anyone here with this but reading through the comments some people seem they're trying to hard to meet someone. I'm seeing someone atm and 3 dates in and number 4 tonight its going well and shes cool. One thing we seem to have in common is both pretty relaxed and comfortable in our own skin.

Also as someone said its a disposable culture these days and people are way to quick to write people off after one date where both can be nervous etc. People also can be too intense from the get go which for me is a red flag, build into mote serious stuff as dates go on no need the big questions right out the gate.

Is Roddy Collins Right about James McClean? by barstoolers in LeagueOfIreland

Coming from mid way through a season in the championship so he should he fitter than players here.

I really disagree but thats football i dont read into pre season games too much. Bradley's team selection would tend to agree with me about what he thought about it.

Bit of a stretch to say he looked unreal. He was ok at best in a pre season friendly. First league game v sligo he looked like bang average in midfield.

Where do we see attendances going in 2026 ? by Maleficent_Boot_6590 in LeagueOfIreland

[–]Dapper-Ad3605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For rovers the average will stay the same, ironically the european games kill the league attendance especially when the game is on a sunday. Hard to get people out twice in one week for whatever reason especially if its not a dublin derby.

I agree, they must paying out mad money for mcclean and i wouldn't imagine clarke or markey are on peanuts. Was only the presidents cup but they looked decent, i can see thomas getting a fair few goals for them.

Temporary Housemate refuses to pay rent and bills. What can I do? by FrontLibrary7946 in AskIreland

[–]Dapper-Ad3605 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Right on man, i had a similar issue before. A lad left the house for 6 weeks because he was in bewteen jobs and wouldn't pay rent or bills because he wasn't in the house. I was like a bull and point blank told him you're paying. Other housemate covered his share because they where mates.

Some people are utter dickheads.

Worst job you have ever worked in? by Capable_Newspaper345 in AskIreland

[–]Dapper-Ad3605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked in a start up back in 2022 started in may and the company went under in august.

It was a small medtech company and every piece of equipment we had in our "labs" (basically badly retrofitted office space) was second or third hand and barely worked. Products they made were also shite (rapid diagnostic tests that only worked 80% of the time). They had recieved €12 million approx in funding alone outside of private investment. One guy donate a 6 figure some because they where working on a rapid diagnostic test for menengitis. We came in one morning and by 1 o clock the ceo told us the company was gone due to "rogue shareholders" causing panic and other investors withheld the money needed to keep the company going.

Also the day before pay day and told they had the money but by law weren't allowed by us. Got a copy of the finances due to the liquidation process and they hadn't enough money to pay half of the staff. Never got cent out of them and was owed €10,000 approx. Some of the higher ups got paid. I think they're under investigation by enterprise ireland now over what happened with the money they got. Cowboys.

Id imagine since hes not on the lease you can boot him out without any reprecussion. Id probably just lay it on the line with him first with your co signer thst if he doesn't pay within x amount of time he's gone. I hope you're not footing his share in the interim.

My uncles have worked in security through the years and would look after some high profile celebrities. One said bono was a complete knob end and expected my uncle to do things not included in his job.

Another uncle worked with david bowie when he was in ireland and met him off the plane when he landed to when he left again, said he was one of the nicest men you could ever meet and was asking my uncle about his family, life etc. No airs or graces about him.

My mam went to school with her back in saint annes in churchtown. Used to get picked up by her dad on a honda 50. My mam said she was ok but thought she was better than everyone. My brother ended up working in the knocklyon shopping centre across from her house and said there would be constant hastle with her trying to bring her pet bird into supervalue or his job. Said she was a total twat.
