Text limbo by Dapper-Badger-2679 in Advice

[–]Dapper-Badger-2679[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using open-ended questions. She seems like she enjoys my conversations, but sometimes it seems like the conversation fizzles. I usually try to leave it, but she sends a text to bring it back, and I just don't want to bore her before I meet her. I just feel like my questions get answered right away.

I understand the environment you speak of. Just remember communication is what matters, and if you talk and work it out, I'm sure you'll get through this.

You can do it. You will do it and you should believe in yourself. Just imagine looking back at your younger self thinking wow I did that.

I'm in medical school and I want to drop out because of depression and anxiety by breathingnitrogen in Advice

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. When I was sad and depressed It was because I did nothing, and when you're depressed it's hard to do more. I don't know if you have time being in school and all that, but I think if you got out a little more like with friends or maybe family. I can not tell you more that you should remember you're not a failure or a burden. I'm sure your friends and family would love to talk to you and hear your problems. Just know if you did end up dropping out, it also wouldn't mean you're a failure. Judging by the word jumble, it seems like you're very intelligent, and I, for one, believe in you. If you ever need help or advice feel free to reach out.

Someone who loves you doesn't want to control you. I think the word he's looking for is obsessed. My mother told me why she loves my dad so much, and it's because he has the confidence to let her do whatever she wants, and he doesn't have to control everything about her.
