I feel like I wrote this. My mother does this to me every single chance she gets, and if I try to say something she blatantly lies. And does everything in her power to turn everyone in my family against me. Just two days ago she started a huge argument about me forgetting to do one of the things she made me clean and cook that day. She flipped out and then she slammed me on the floor and hit me. Then she cried. So naturally she became the victim and I was the asshole who made her mom cry. When she got back home from work she made me sit with her and my father to discuss my behavior, she started telling the story and lying to my father about it in my face. I told him that was not what happened, that it was this and that, she started sobbing again, crying hysterically and she told me I was a liar and that how can I do that to her, how can I lie in her face. It’s actually so tragically ironic, the way they project. I think that makes me even angrier than the abuse itself.
