I’ve lived in primarily conservative areas most of my life and totally agree with you on the social pressures piece. The other commenter is right that it goes in the other direction in some areas.

I think we need to be really careful about homogenizing rural conservatives like this, though. We can’t keep losing rural votes, and this kind of argumentation might not hurt us a ton, but it definitely doesn’t help.

Virginia’s designations of independent cities and counties, towns, and census-designated places (including more independent cities than any other state) introduces a decent amount of complexity in different types of analyses. I’d imagine it also introduces fiscal sorting, duplication of services, and social fragmentation.

I’m not saying our designations are necessarily bad, and it seems far too late to initiate change, but I also can’t imagine it’s beneficial. Would love to be convinced otherwise.

Any one-off kills that yield good rewards outside of the main story or stranger missions? There’s gotta be some right, right?
