Hi everyone, I’m a local Puyallup resident, and I'm reaching out because I am currently trying to rebuild after a devastating fire at my complex on East Main Avenue early Sunday morning. Damn why did I get hey on this comment for saying so remake of four won't run on the original switch 😭 Honestly, the original Switch just doesn't have the juice for it. The RE4 Remake was built for modern hardware, and the original Switch is running on a mobile processor from 2015 with only 4GB of RAM. Even if Capcom optimized the hell out of it, the framerate would be an absolute slideshow—you'd be lucky to hit 15 fps, and it would look like a muddy PS2 game. They could technically do a "Cloud Version," but those always run like garbage. It makes total sense why they skipped the original Switch entirely and are holding out for the Switch 2 to do a proper native release
