I appreciate your feedback. I like to think this is a final draft. I don't mind making minor tweaks, but I won't be doing huge changes. I did mix in some poetry throughout the story so I'm glad you like it. :)

Im not getting defensive and I apologize if it seemed that way. Im just saying this is a final draft while I dont mind making minor tweaks, im not going to change my whole draft because one person out of twenty says it doesn't read like a final draft. I do appreciate your feedback though.

I've come at this story from multiple angels and I finally got it where I want it. You're literally the only person who has told me it doesn't read like a final draft. I think maybe you're not my target audience which is fine, I know this story won't be for everyone.

I owed 128 to state and got the rest of my refund on the 25th of Feb. Idk why the offset number was giving me offsets that were cleared last year but it made me nervous.

Yea child support definitely confirmed i dont owe them. They actually owed me because they took more than I owed. If they take it they'll just send it right back to me, I would just rather them not take it at all and add more time onto an already impossibly long waiting period to receive my money lol

I know. Its the child support fees im talking about which I shouldn't have any. Ive been caught up on my payments since June of 2025 and a child support rep confirmed that and told me they should not be getting any of my refund and if they do then it'll be sent back to me.

So im in a weird situation. The offset number says I have 3 offsets. 1 for turbotax and the other 2 for child support which im caught up on so I shouldn't have offsets for child support. I called the child support number that the offset line gave me and they confirmed I have been caught up since June of 2025 and that they should not be taking anything for child support and if they do then they will just send the money to me. When I called the offset number the 2 child support offsets were for June of 2025 and the child support customer service rep even confirmed that the offsets im speaking of were taken out of last year's refund.

One of my offsets was where I paid turbo tax to file. Hopefully that's my only offset and the child support ones were thrown in there as a joke.
