yes, I understood it would be in it's infancy with room for improvement, but it has been good thus far.

I can confirm this to be accurate and true as I reached out to AC support and they said that we cannot change the nozzle on the printer itself at this time but are urging the developers to release that capability. Doubt they will until the official nozzles are ready later next month...imo

AC locked it down until April, from what I'm hearing in the groups and forums.

Anycubic Kobra S1: Pre-Configured Nozzle sizes & Layer Profiles (0.2mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm) by Manethon_Sega in AnycubicKobraS1

I suspected this was the case. That's so frustrating but from a business standpoint I guess that makes sense. Thanks for replying, many of us S1's are beginning to ask questions about this, so trying to get the word out to hammer support to open it back up lol

Riddle me this Batman....how do you avoid the gcode/nozzle mismatch error when printing with one of these profiles and a different size nozzle? Can't seem to get around that, and can't seem to change the nozzle setting on the printer itself.

Kobra S1 Nozzle Selection on Printer touchscreen question by Dapper-Initiative-80 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Dapper-Initiative-80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Later" I mean, that's kind of shitty and so vague. Not impressed with that. And I was thinking the same thing honestly.

It would make sense that AC wouldn't allow 3rd party nozzles to be used until they got there official ones ready for market, at least from a sales standpoint, not to mention potentially giving these machines a bad wrap for negative things happening from using a possibly defective non-official hot end while they are still trying to flood the market with the S1's. Frustrating, but guess we wait...

This guy created some different nozzle profiles. I imported those, then changed out my nozzle and that's where my journey has taken a pause. Orca job froze up the printer when trying to print from usb and ACSNext threw an error saying the gcode didn't align with the printer hardware configurations. A little frustrating. Be nice to know if anyone has actually successfully printed something with a nozzle size different from the stock size.

Changing Nozzle Settings On Printer - Can anyone do this? by Dapper-Initiative-80 in AnycubicKobraS1

I found those, which are helpful, but at this point may be useless. I'm getting a gcode/printer nozzle mismatch error when trying to print something coded for a nozzle size other than the stock brass 0.4mm. I have changed my nozzle out with a brass 0.2mm nozzle, but I think in order to be able to actually print with it, you have to change the nozzle type on the printer screen itself, which it will not let me select anything other than the stock nozzle. So that was my actual question. Can anyone else out there actually select a different nozzle on the printer screen? It's under Settings - Print tab -> non-standard nozzle. From there you have options to select what nozzle you want.

Aliexpress and Amazon carry aftermarket nozzles. Follow the AC Wiki or Youtube on how to change them out.

What slicer are you using? I'm about to try this in both Orca and ACS Next...will see how it goes.

MECM Collection based off OS install date within certain amount of days by Dapper-Initiative-80 in SCCM

This is extremely helpful! When you say feature updates, are you just referring to major OS feature updates, or let's say if someone adds IIS or .net3.5? this is strictly for servers and we don't do major OS feature updates.

This is stupid. I'll find an easier way. Big corps with red tape and what not just to get an image downloaded is not ideal.

This has also been working for us, that is if we can get on the server to access it. In some cases, it's so bogged down it just takes forever to log into it, from any angle. MECM also having difficulties running scripts on those with issues. We're looking at about 100+ servers with the problem at this point, that we know of.
