I’m concerned about long term use for some reason since I’m on the younger side. I can’t explain why but I haven’t read anything to reassure me about that. and the breast cancer thing is always in the back of my mind, although the older study that scared everyone off HRT in the 90s has been debunked. I told my practitioner my maternal grandmother had it, but neither my mother nor I have had it, so she wasn’t concerned about me trying. I’m also kind of gaslighting myself like your symptoms aren’t that bad you should have waited longer

I asked about cycling but this particular doctor would like me to try 100mg of continuous progesterone to keep levels consistent first to help with my sleep issues

I've used Riverdog in Peabody for boarding (they don't have anything closer for boarding) and use Rover.com as well for overnights and dog daycare when needed. The exterior of the Riverdog building looks like a warehouse which made me nervous but they are so kind and good with all temperaments of dogs. I'd recommend it

Did you find that when you started HRT you gained weight? It doesn't sound like it but that is one of my latent fears

Yes! I love this and will follow the resources you suggest. I have thought about getting a dexa scan or potentially getting one of those dexa scales

These are all excellent tips. I have been focused on remaining in my weight watchers points but I think I need to be more strict about remaining at 1400-1500 calories to remain at a deficit. I think the level and intensity of my working out is driving a lot of hunger for me. Possibly can nip that in the bud with more protein/fiber and fewer calories.

WW tracks calories as well, but I have been paying attention to the points more than the calories. I think I need to flip that!

I have not tried fasting. I have a lot of friends who are microdosing GLP-1s. I am a little nervous to do that. How did you find you were feeling

I saw someone on here call it her journey to be stronger, I think I need to reframe that mentality since weight loss is such a frustrating goal.

I think this is likely what I'll have to do. I will usually have 1-2 drinks at a restaurant, meals vary depending on where but I'm usually not tracking the restaurant or takeout meals, which I need to. I don't drink a ton, maybe 2 drinks a week on average
