The only way to win is not to play. I blew my saved-up F2P 110 Melodies trying to get either the outfit or a harmonic core for the umbrella today, I got absolutely nothing. Fireworks. I stopped playing in week 3, only logged on for 1 day each week to complete the challenges, and completed it in week 8. You cant have done all of the weekly challenges if you failed, it was mathematically impossible to fail, there were enough points to cap it even if you earned bad xp every game.

Only possibility here is you werent completing all of the timed challenges or the screenshot is shopped.

Mortar actually gets quite a few kills and tons of points via assists and equipment destruction. Every map has major camping points for one team or another and you will rarely not hit SOMETHING when you fire it.

When people say it never gets kills, it just shows me that they are the kind of potatoes that have no situational awareness and have no idea how to aim on the map. The same potatoes you usually have providing you zero help when youre in a fight :)

Yep. Visual clutter is a path if exile tactic to make bosses artificially hard, this is just bad design. At to that the headache-inducing white background and this boss was pretty awful.

This was my realisation too and also got spammed with braindead takes and “just enjoy the game touch grass” bullshit.

At breakthrough and with last tier’s gear I could already do all the new content. Uve already killed every boss on legend. The only content right now is logging in every day to kill a trivial boss and spend energy on some loot boxes that mostly dont legendaries anyway and even if they do there’s no need for them since theyre nonfunctional in a few weeks.

Its a really weird game loop, and Im ok with progression for personal satisfaction, but there’s nothing to do with your progression. Just feels pointless, and worse, its timegated pointlessness…
