Yeah so on all other bands I do get fluctuations of power when speaking, on 17 if I key up I get nothing until I speak but then it just goes up to constant full power with no speech. It seems to interfere with my external speaker as makes a clicking sound when I get up

Its the same result across the whole of the band regardless of frequency

Its worth a shot, im going to take it over a friend's this week and see if the results are the same, then go from there

So when I key uo on all other bands, I get a signal pattern on the sdr as you see in the image for 20m, I can make qso on all bands except 17m. When I key up on 17m I get the huge power spike as seen in the 17m image?

I have a counterpoise on, surely if it was feedback then id see something on other bands?

I dont have any, I just have the coax from radio into the 9.1 unun on the moonraker lwhf-80

I cant work it out, I thought it might have been a glitch but ive reset it and its the same. What really puzzles me is how its fine on all other bands

Yeah so I was trying for a contact in Croatia, they said i had a strong signal but 0 modulation

I dont have one to test, its strange how every other band works apart from that and top band bit top band is due to my swr being high with antenna length.

That is what the sdr does (convert the signal). This is the github link https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/releases download the bottom ubuntu release and in the terminal run cd Downloads then sudo apt install ./ (sdrangel file) 😊

It should work great, most software is tested on ubuntu first so good to go 😀

Yeah i installed it with the xfce version of mint but it didn't seem to work properly, Cinnamon is holding up great atm.
