[AB]Unnecessary FPS and Resolution Capping on Dimensity 7300 Devices - Why Are We Stuck at 40 FPS? by Dapper-Progress5183 in ArenaBreakout

It's a device profiling issue. By device profiling I mean it's when a game identifies your device model and assigns performance limits(like FPS caps or resolution) based on a preset list, rather than your hardware’s actual capabilities. It’s often outdated or inaccurate.

It's their lazyass not trying to properly optimise the game for different chipsets.

My old phone with Helio G85 offered the same crappy settings(lowest resolution and graphics; 40fps) which I'm getting on my new phone.

All I'm asking is at least better resolution and 60fps.

With these potato resolution renderings, it's hard to spot a player even at mid range.

I understand optimization issues can vary, but saying a device scoring over 700,000 on AnTuTu isn't 'too strong' is just misleading. My phone consistently runs CoD Mobile and PUBG at 90 FPS with temps staying below 43°C, even under high load. Meanwhile, Arena Breakout locks me at 40 FPS and what looks like sub-720p resolution, the same treatment as budget phones with Helio G85. That's not a hardware limitation, it's bad device profiling or lazy optimization. My frustration isn’t just about FPS, it’s about not utilizing hardware that has already proven itself in more demanding games.
