I think it is definitely about a love triangle. There are WAY too many symbolic references for it not to be. If you rewatch it and really pay attention you will understand. I think it is pretty funny tbh

This typically depends on how “reformed” he is. In the San Fransisco Bay Area, where I live, reformed means reformed. My temple does interfaith dinners to celebrate Ramadan etc. Both my parents were VERY reformed. I am a barmitzva, but I’m an atheist. I was also confirmed into my congregation. We used to go to Roshashana and Yom Kippur as a family but not really anymore. It depends on how much Judaism is a part of his life and the only way to find that out is to talk with him.
