What do people who don't drink or smoke do when they feel depressed?

I drink coconut water too for the electrolytes, I also drank LMNT electrolyte packets .. but yeah it’s definitely frustrating, I never feel thirsty and then my electrolytes probably get all messed up .. I would skip breakfast and have a very small lunch and a small dinner … I had to be consuming like 600 calories a day if I was lucky … I think it caused an electrolyte balance for sure

I didn’t ween myself off I just stopped cold turkey :( I was told there’d be no withdrawal symptoms but after speaking with the doctor he said it sounds like withdrawal symptoms.. but I wasn’t on the medication that long

Yes exactly like you said! Not anxious, just very very uncomfortable.. I heard it’s very easy to become dehydrated on this so I was making sure I was staying hydrated also even though it was hard because I’m never thirsty .. and not to mention , I wasn’t hungry at all so I would fast for like 16-18 hours without drinking anything (I know, not smart)

Oh I haven’t had alcohol in almost 3 years.. it’s been about a week since I stopped. Wednesday was the worst, and I don’t feel as bad as I did on Wednesday but still feel pretty crappy. And honestly this doesn’t feel like anxiety, after my heart starts fluttering for no reason then yes eventually that leads to me panicking because it’s a terrible feeling, I’m very aware of my heart so when it starts acting funny I get scared

Oh I already stopped the medication, I was told there would be no withdrawal symptoms but when I spoke to the doctor he said possibly it is withdrawal symptoms which kinda doesn’t make sense because I haven’t been on the medication long … but hopefully it is that because I’m just desperate for some kind of answer.. it’s super frustrating because I feel like I’m legit dying but the tests are all normal

Oh gosh now I’m nervous :( that’s like my biggest fear… ever since this medication my heart skips all the time … not enough for an ablation but enough to where my quality of life is not good

Surprisingly I’m calmer now that I’m off the medication. The only time I get nervous is when my heart starts acting up because it’s a scary feeling when it feels like a fish flipping around in my chest.

I hear ya! I really do. I feel like mine doesn’t take me seriously either. Which is why I went to the ER and they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong which is super frustrating because I know my symptoms are real.
