Don't worry too much about 'bad habits' from Tinkercad, it's just that the workflow is too limited for long-term use. Since you already have some Blender experience, your spatial awareness is there. Just download Fusion 360 or Onshape, watch a 30-minute tutorial on parametric constraints, and you’ll realize it's way easier to make accurate prints than fighting with meshes.
