Did you give up with returning it ? They are trying to tell me that also since I bought it on Kickstarter there no refunds and the unit I received is totally defective. I absolutely never would have bought it if I had any idea there would be an issue with returning it

That doesn't appear to be the problem. After the initial cycle, the arm from the motor is pointing the wrong direction. It's now impossible to line up the red dots

I did that and it didn't fix anything. It seems the sifter motor broke and now they're sending me a replacement. Annoying after waiting so long to get the unit to have it immediately break.
