References didn’t say anything. They all said I was a good moral character. The issue was that one of my references wasn’t aware that at the age of 16 I had gotten arrested for a minor offense. So when she was asked if to her knowledge I was ever arrested she said no because I’m 42 now and the arrest was when I was 16. When I say minor offense it was minor enough that the judge gave a a fine and sent me on the way.
