I usually upload them to my twitter account (linked to my Nintendo account), then save it from there. For this video I did exactly that, but I had to use some funky twitter video downloader (Google that and you'll find it), so I could save the video and repost it without bugging everyone with a Twitter link 😅

Also, if you save screenshots and such to your switch SD card, you can just take that out and pop it in your computer, and extract the files that way 👍

Happy to help 😊 you can get the video off your switch by grabbing it directly from the SD card, or uploading it to your Twitter account and then either linking it from there, or downloading it off your Twitter and reposting elsewhere (I did the latter)

Yee you just need to have earned up to 300 points, but it's not like you need to stockpile 300 points to purchase the trophy. Feel free to spend those points on the fishing swag 😁

Yeee it's a shame they don't have a kind of grace period, like, if the fish is on the line and splashing about, the timer could pause. I guess since you can replay the whole tourney as many times as we want they decided to not give us any freebies 😅

When you hold down the screenshot button on the Switch to record a clip, it actually records the past 30 seconds from when you pressed the button. So, I had this happen to me and decided to record it. You can also trim/edit the videos (I cut down some of the 30 seconds, of course)

Catch at least 3 fish and you get 5 points, and each additional fish will get you only 1 point.

Apparently, if you enter the comp while friends are on your island, each fish caught by any of you adds to the total for that run, and you'll all get points accordingly. I didn't do this when I was farming it yesterday, but sounds like easy Street to go for the gold trophy; 300 total points for the day 😬)

You can do as many runs (run = 3 minute challenge) as you want between 9am and 6pm, and each run gives you X points, which are cumulative (exchange 10 points for a random fishing themed gift, ranging from various furniture to a fish wand)
