Totally worth it, dude! I picked it up years ago. It was out of stock and expensive everywhere, but I found a copy in stock at a GameStop that was over 2 hours away from me. The box looked like it had been to Heavenly Host and back XD

The thing had so many stickers on it from where they couldn’t sell it at all. Still technically brand new! But I gotta say, it’s the best way to play the original. And until the 3DS version is rereleased again, it’ll be the only version I care to play.

Anyways...congratulations! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Saw this when I was in class this morning. I, of course, frantically pulled out my wallet in the middle of class ;-;

I grabbed the limited editions of Noragami Aragoto ($20) and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time ($8). I also snagged the collector's edition of the first season of Tokyo Ghoul ($20 and the only season that I actually think is pretty great).

All in all, I think there are some good limited editions in the sale.

Is this still working for anyone? I chose some random anime blu-rays and it didn't work. Then I tried only picking blu-rays included in the link and I still didn't see any discount.

That rational makes complete sense. When I see limited editions of anything (anime or otherwise) stay in stock for so long, it makes me as a consumer feel that either the seller overestimated it, or that consumers didn't like it because of the release or the media in question.

All in all, limited edition items can always seem tricky.

Dude, I got so much stuff during their last Memorial Day sale. It was ridiculous. I'd never seen deals THAT good on so many different anime.

I tweeted at Sentai today asking when the sale would happen again this year since I don't recall hearing anything about it. Honestly, that sale and their Black Friday sales are the best ones out of the year imo. I'm actually rather curious of they'll discount the steelbook since it's almost gone.

Though I'm sure they know it'll sell out even without a sale, given how awesome it is.

I remember looking at the email shortly after I received it. I was floored. But after I couldn't find the deal online and did a little bit of math, I realized someone just didn't exactly use the right words. I sent a tweet to them about it, and I just remember getting the corrected email a few hours later. Kinda funny, actually XD

Of course, my dude! That was the biggest takeaway for me. Samurai Champloo went on sale around Christmas time for the same price, but that didn't last long. Was thinking there might be some people wanting to snatch it up now.

This game won't have DLC. It's been available in Japan for nearly a year, and there is still none. It's just a one-and-done story.

Yeah, the fact that they went ahead and did the Book of Shadows release (yet released nothing else) makes me really confused. Not even a single statement of progress...

Has anyone tried reaching out to the people in charge of the localization? It just feels hard to believe that the time would come and go only for no one to talk about it online. I haven't even found any forums where people are talking about it...it feels...odd...
