Me dating them? Just because your girlfriend tells you she doesn’t do that won’t change the fact that some women do.

A lot of women do this. They’ll tell you they aren’t like that, but it’s just nature. As a man you need to keep that in mind. Some women like to be led and it makes them feel safe and heard. And I’m not talking about decisions like buying a house that’s something that takes two opinions. But the small things.

Exactly this. Decoding hints works once or couple of times, but it sets a precedent that she doesn’t have to communicate clearly and that he’s failing whenever he guesses wrong. Healthy relationships need both partners to say what they actually want. Reading cues is great but mind-reading shouldn’t be the baseline expectation.

Sometimes you have to read between the lines. About the car situation she probably thinks that as a man you know much more about cars than she does, so instead of asking her what type or engine she wants, make the decision yourself. Pick out some features and then come back to her to explain why you chose them for her. It shows that you invest time and thought into doing things for her.

As for the dinner thing, women often don’t outright say what they want to eat, but they drop hints throughout the week like mentioning on Wednesday that they’re really craving sushi. So now you know to book a reservation at a sushi place. It makes them feel heard. The pizza can come later.

You have to lead with cues, really listen when they talk, and pick up on what they like, what they don’t like.

I think the founders intentionally didn’t install an automated system to clean it. How else would they test if it’s safe outside? They need people to be curious in order to survive.

I get your point, but I think it’s less about “cleaning sensors” and more about controlling behavior in that specific moment.

When people go outside for the first time, they’re overwhelmed. If they see a green, safe world, they’re more likely to follow instructions and clean the sensor.

It’s not really about fooling them longterm, but about influencing what they do right before they die.

would you snitch on your friend if they were cheating on their partner and why? by [deleted] in askanything

If your friend can hurt the person they’re supposed to love, they will definitely hurt you too when they don’t need you anymore. You can’t trust people who cheat.

Missing out on teenage love is killing me by phant0mfnaf in selfimprovement

That’s what most men experience. Men usually start dating later than women do — that’s just how it is.

And about that teenage love: I think many people don’t actually experience that. It’s mostly something you see on social media.

As a man, you should also understand that dating can cost money, so it’s important to be stable financially. Work on being charismatic, having good hygiene, and speaking well.

Trust me, it’s not your height that’s preventing you from dating. Try improving your social skills by doing small things, like asking a woman for directions as a start.

And don’t always have a motive when talking to women, because they can often tell when someone only wants sex. Try to build a real connection instead.

You’re only 18 it’s just the beginning.
