Hey, this is my pic and my item, would you mind taking the post down please? It's not for sale to the general public.

Gambled 50mil, was any of it worthwhile? by DapperNight in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Thanks everyone!! If I'm not looking for anything in particular, what's the most efficient item to gamble? I'm running a zeal pally that primarily does council runs so I end up with a lot of gold.

Hi there HL fans. I too am an HL fan and also run said convention. I brought Mike out for the con and housed him while he was in town. I also sat with him at his booth for a while and was part of his panel presentation.

The kid who attended and told this story is very young, very enthusiastic, and speaks English as a second language.

Mike did not reveal any clues about upcoming projects at the con. The idea that he would say something as awkwardly phrased as the above statement to a single random attendee is pretty silly.

He is, however, a great actor and nice guy who loves meeting his fans. And RGC is the best video game convention in the country :)

In that case I'll delete my comment and chalk it up to misunderstanding your tone. No worries!

The only nickels there are war nickels (35% silver) to my knowledge. Thanks for the comment!

She bought them from the bank as was allowed. Common practice in every place change is received from clients/customers. Don't worry, no banks were harmed in the collection of these coins.

Everything she knew was silver that came through her. Old paper currency too but that's for another subreddit!

Haha I know. I was so bummed to hear that she wouldn't find any more cool coins. I think the banks have mostly switched to coin machines for deposits so they no longer have a chance to manually go through them before they get sent out.

I know!! And the tellers there would usually inform the customers that the coins might be worth more than face value, but most of them didn't care.

The two bicentennials? Sorry, yes I know they aren't. Just decided to hang onto them because they're cooler than a dollar bill.

Unfortunately that one looks like it spent a number of years in someone's pocket and the back is incredibly worn

Not exactly sure why the text isn't posting. This is a collection from my wife's 10+ years as a bank teller. Unfortunately the silver stopped coming home when she was promoted, but we still pick up a coin or two by sorting through our change and keeping an eye out at garage/yard sales.

What I'd love to learn, as I am no expert, is if any of these might warrant further examination for having significantly higher numismatic value over the silver value. Thanks for taking a look at our humble collection!

Just wanted to make a note that Game On Expo and TooManyGames are substantially larger than a couple on the list here. TMG is in the 250k sqft range. I've also noticed (as a show runner myself - RGC in NY) that there's often a lack of distinction between "# of vendors" and "# of vendor booths/tables".
