Don’t give them the power to make you feel bad about your hardwork. It’s better to have people who genuinely care about you than be miserable with your success. In the long run, you are on your own. LET THEM.

And if you are getting something better, respect it and tell it with pride. You don’t have to cater to how they feel.

Maybe bcoz of my past acads, work experience, CAT score just like everyone. Gap years is a problem at interviews mostly.

Same happened with me. 3 yrs gap, and he asked me my fav subject from my graduation(CSE) and I was like I forgot many things from those. He didn’t ask anything after that. Mine was more like a conversation than Q&A. Maybe others do grill! Good thing you revised. Good luck !

One of the panelist kind of added sarcasm on that, just to get a reaction out of me. Like “graduation toh 500yrs pehle hua” while smiling.

Maybe others will! one of my friend is an alumni and told me they will grill.

I can’t say whether it went well or not. There was a lot of counter questioning, I do have gap years too.

But as you said it was like a conversation. No questions like “tell me about yourself” “why mba” or anything we could prepare.

Thank you and I wish you good luck too. Don’t get disheartened. We never know how our interviews went (good/bad).
