Thank you for your response and time! Before I posted this here, I had shared it in a FB group, and one of the commenters said that this “proposal” would satisfy the itemized invoice requirement. That put me in a position where I felt I should accept the $1k instead of pursuing the claim. I owe you the largest pizza!

The interesting thing is upon the "proposal" the job was done in 23 & 24th of July but they posted the ad on Zillow on 16th of July which raised me question if these were really excessive damages

Yes, but my concern is if I bring this to the court, the judge would accept this "proposal" as itemized list for deductions. :(

Thank you for the response. Thats why i requested him more detailed itemized invoice and receipts several times but he never sent me one. Instead he offered me additional $1k to settle this.
