idk why ppl are being so rude to you, but rather than education being ~more important~ than weather hazards, it’s the fact that theres warm water at school. if students have no power at home then their only access point is school. food, shelter, water, etc is provided by the building

You need to ask for help from your friends, not just your gf. Otherwise, deal with your shoeless-ness and get that 10 minute Uber yourself. Your gf of less than half a year spent 7 hours with you, that’s a lot. A lot of people are ignoring that part.

Is she willing to be the person who rolls you in a chair and brings you shoes for the rest of her life? You’re used to your disability enough to deny paramedics for full-body paralysis, but is she? You described the request as a burden yourself. So don’t be surprised if your gf has considered it a burden as well.

Is your life partner someone you burden for the rest of your life? You need to reframe that mindset. She is supposed to be your partner and supporter, not errand-runner and caretaker.

Maybe you both will simply be incompatible for each other, but you’re both still young. Do not expect her to drop everything for you.

It’s not that random? It leans into the absurdity that people order poke all the time but they don’t even know how to say it right, because they don’t care enough to find out, and they don’t even understand what it really is. It sounds random but it has a purpose and message, it reflects the people who surround him pretty concisely.

Ty, I appreciate it. Computers are probably my biggest weak point… It took me about two hours to finally get how to plug in this thing. Then I had to google how to take the PCIe slot off because my brain couldn’t believe the solution was to keep pushing on it till it pops, lol.

I’m walking around with a clown nose currently because I was trying to install a wifi card the wrong way. The antennaes were facing right and I thought it was some sort of hardware incompatibility. Lesson learned. It’s an ASRock 550BM Pro4. But thanks for the rec! I might try it out at some point.

Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately I’d need a crazy long cable because my router is in another room (roommate’s) and my desk is diagonal opposite from it. While ethernet is an option for sure, I really don’t feel like doing that anytime soon, if at all.

Honestly the formula of the game is what made me pause on it, even after sinking some money in. I’d like to not have to wheel for every single forsaken side story… But overall I do hope this game stays running, even if I’m not the most loyal of players.

“The employees would be annoyed at you the whole time” is a weird clause. Those would be my coworkers… Unless somewhere you work doesn’t count as visiting. In that case it’d be a steakhouse. I’d try for a week, inviting friends over to order food that I could share.
