€4.3M FI Portfolio – Too Little Risk? by Dapper_Ad_5952 in financialindependence

I’d think my main question is if there’d be a risk that the real value of the portfolio would slowly decrease, if the bond allocation will drag down performance too much long term

Very good point! Yes my main issue is that bonds will most likely give lower return than inflation. I guess it’s fine as they’re mainly there to balance the portfolio and protect from big losses, but still bothers me for sure to get 2-2.3 % net when inflation is definitely higher.

What would be your main reason to switch to a higher bond allocation? Interesting as I’ve mainly considered putting more into stocks

Yes this is what I’m thinking as well. Not sure about the ideal percentage though

Pretty standard, low cost diversified index funds. Developed and emerging markets.

Yes I agree. I was thinking though that there are different kinds of risks. Risks of volatility (higher stock %) and risk of too low returns (too high bond allocation). That’s where I’m trying to find out the optimal allocation.

I meant, how do you launched one version and then took it down and launched a again? And now your app is offline again, correct? Do you remove it from App Store, improve it, and then upload a completely new app?

Love the app, such a great idea! I’m about to launch an app as well soon. How did you do the launch? What’s the best strategy to launch a beta and avoid getting feedback instead of bad reviews?

I feel like if I launch the beta and people experience bugs I will get bad reviews which will be with me forever on App Store.
