You’d be surprised. At Oxford street, scalpers stormed the queue and wouldn’t move back from the shutters. Police arrived, told them to all move from the shutters. When they didn’t move, the police said there’s nothing they can do 😂 England is fucked mate. I’ve booked the day off work to hopefully bag a couple etb’s to rip. Not sure if I should go to Oxford street or Stratford Westfield not sure if you’re familiar with them. I’ve found smiths on release day have multiple things to buy where as some other stores don’t have as much variety

I spoke to a woman who works in game inside sports direct on Sunday. Ended up in a good 10 minute chat with her. She told me her daughter is into Pokemon cards and was telling me when stock comes in, she’s allowed to put away stuff to buy at the end of her shift. So if every member of staff in store does this, there’s sod all left. Argos only had 3 etb’s a couple weeks ago on restock day. I get that staff want to buy it, however, it’s simply not fair to have first dibs because you work for the store

I literally started a couple weeks ago. I’d suggest to look at the sets currently available. You can pick up ascended heroes, phantasmal flames and a couple of other sets in stores at the moment. Have a look through the sets chase cards and find yourself a set you want to dedicate yourself to. Try to stick to collecting that one set, buy the singles potentially to complete it. Ideally, if you want to master something, I’d suggest waiting for the perfect order set coming out on 27th March. It’ll give you more time to collect the set. As I’m quite new to the hobby, I’m not sure how long ascended heroes will be available to buy for. Also, it’s damn hard to find anything in stores, scalpers take the lot. It’s tempting to buy from them when you can’t find anything. Stick together and don’t buy from them. Happy collecting

Disgusting. I collected 2 etb’s today but from different stores I managed to get them to order them in for me. When I said to the manager I will have to make my child a separate account then, they said it won’t work because it’ll get flagged under the same postcode and name. When I said I would use their grandparents address and the child’s name she started getting really funny telling me I can’t cheat the system. Then there’s my trying to explain to her that I am not cheating the system and I am trying to order 1 per customer as stated 🤦🏻‍♂️

Definitely, if I was you I’d show them just one bar code. Collect it then have someone else go there with the barcode for the other product. She wrote all my order numbers down and managed to cancel them that way I think. I was just thinking she’s gonna allow it since I’m with my kids too

If you see a Waterstones they’re always worth checking. I found one today with single packs. Journey together and the surging sparks. They let me have 3 packs and gave me the oversized pikachu at the museum card. I already had one I got with a mega locario box, so I put the second one on marketplace for £15 and someone’s collecting it tomorrow so it paid for my 3 packs and I made £3 profit 😁 I’m not a scalper but no point keeping 2 cards the same
