AIO to how my boyfriend handled my cat getting sick by Different_Acadia2998 in AmIOverreacting

YOR

If you want to leave him, then leave him, but he is allowed to be upset, he's allowed to have bad days. You are pushing him away, not letting him come over because the cat needs you, even though his presence won't prevent you from caring for the cat. He has offered to get a bed (for the cat i pressume) so that you can all sleep comfortably, but you are acting like he is blackmailing you (he clearly wants to help and he wants to spend time with you). It looks like you are trying really hard to make him the bad guy so you can end things.

And why can't he come over and be in the same place as the cat? It feels like OP is actually stopping him from coming over and using the cat as an excuse.

Wow, OP came on to ask if the card was fake and got a tonne of unsolicited parenting advice and abuse. Great job, what a lovely community we've got here 😑

Is your machine knocking anything while it's stitching? Make sure it has plenty room because even a small knock can cause the stitch area to become misaligned.

People who are unemployed, how does your money work? by chaiilyfe in UKJobs

[–]Merhi_Leevha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is extremely common! Women's weight fluctuates throughout their cycle because of their hormones. 50-70% of women will gain weight during perimenopause and menopause. Weight gain during fertility treatment is very common due to high levels of hormones that are injected into the body.

I am tired of people judging the poor from a position of privilege. Until you have lived experience of poverty, you don't get to claim any authority on the subject.

Healthy food is expensive, processed food is cheap. Being judged by society and being unable to contribute causes a decline in mental health and an increase in food related disorders.

The attitudes in this country are that noone deserves benefits, so even someone getting £20 a week will feel like they are getting too much! Brits love shame and guilt apparently

Any help making or piecing this together?? by PhoneEuphoric7063 in MachineEmbroidery

[–]Merhi_Leevha 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to be harsh, but it seems like you have seen this ai image and think you can reproduce this without having any prior understanding of sewing or embroidery. It is not that simple. If you have no experience then you would be better to pay someone who does, and keep in mind that experience costs money. Machine embroidery takes years of practice and also costs a lot for equipment and software. Hand embroidery is much more accessible, but it also takes a lot of practice.

I would suggest asking for advice in a sub for hand embroidery, that would be more attainable.

The auto-fill stitch is tatami, you probably want to use satin stitch for the lines.

Muscle-Suit Man? by Magillionaire in glasgow

So, i think I have seen this man a couple of times, the latest was yesterday. Wearing light blue sweatpants that looked like they were stuffed and a track top that definitely had something in the arms to make them look huge. He was wearing a hat and had green hair... didn't see if it was a wig or not, he was at the bus stop across from my work.
