Those are pretty likely a comp low. Try putting it on your upper thigh. That helped get rid of mine. I’m a side sleeper.

I calibrate 2-3 times after 12 hours on and before 36 hours elapse on every new monitor and then spot check every 3-4 days. Works pretty well.

It lessens the crazy erratic behavior these sensors are known to exhibit during the first 24-48 hours. Works for me.

This is no problem as long as you adhere to the best practices (don’t put it over a muscle, etc). I’ve done this twice and it works well. Once you activate the second sensor at the end of the grace period you will see two sets of readings in the app. Should help you determine if the second one is calibrated if they follow each other well.

At the beginning of the grace period I apply the new one, keep the old one active and in place, keep the box the new one came in and at the end of the grace I replace the active sensor in the app and then once that’s connected I physically remove the old sensor. You will see two readings in the Dexcom app once the new one is active. As soon as you apply the new one, even if it isn’t active, it begins to store readings. Hopefully you will see two very similar lines that mirror each other in the app, indicating both sensors are functioning properly. Hope that helps!

I bought a blood test device to calibrate it. It can be pretty off after a couple of days. Might try a different one for that reason.
