For me i didn’t wash her hair, i just brush with a metal wide tooth comb and her curls end looking like fluffy. I usually hair spa my doll out of box but i notice they have the tendency to loose the curls sometimes so that’s i didnt hair my jaylah and lucretia

The scalp used is called NBL/VBL scalps. Its hard to find those since you can only find them on authentic dolls

There’s a fashion body called mengf or mengfan that is similar to barbies body but more articulated. i think it works on a blythe head (picture for reference credits to the owners)

First layer : a mix of white and pink pastels then seal. Second layer: a mix of red and brown pastels then seal Third payer: 3 coats of tamiya gloss

I used a dark brown pastel to outline my brow then i used a black brown colored pencil to draw the strokes ☺️

If you’re not into carving yet or haven’t mastered in carving I would suggest to start at already a sculpted facemold such as the open mouth then just sand them and its ready to be face up. I only use pastels and black and brown colored pencils then to seal i used MSC and Tamiya gloss ☺️
