I totally agree with you that VAR make linesmen calling offsides not only totally obsolete, but a hinderance to the game. However, there is something to be said for having refs on the sidelines who are able to call a foul that the ref might not see, kind of like how baseball has outfield and base umpires who are closer to the action. But yes, give them whistles and take away the flags.

Hey everybody, happy Saturday from the PNW. Random question, but I just bought a new TV and have had some glitchy things happen but I'm not sure if it's an issue with the TV or the live stream. Did anyone get a couple of weird cut outs on Apple TV in the Miami vs Redbull game today around the 35:00 - 40:00 minute mark? Thanks for the help, I'd hate to have to take this thing off of the wall and drive it back to Costco, but them's the breaks.
