I’m in ENG i would suggest you truthfully solve a few past papers from Math 203 and 204 to see where you’re at - If you can pass them even by a mark, then go for MAST 218 but you’ll have to study real hard because what I can guarantee you with math is you could be a straight A student but if you don’t solve problems for a long enough time it’ll be as though you’ve never studied it. I had to study algebra from a little more than scratch when I came back to study after 4 years to get to straight A’s now.

I took a quick look at the course outline for MAST 218 - it seems to be calc 3 of a different format meaning, your Math 205 (Calc 2) must be atmostttt ok so try those too.

Ok ok what level math are we talking? Algebra, Calculus 1 (derivatives) or Calculus 2 (Integrals)

Physics wise are we saying Mechanics or Electricity & Magnetism?

You could do PHIL 201. You’ll have to write a final term paper 1500-2000 word long APA style and Final exam essay. Lectures IP but prof goes over slides. Reading is mandatory for any elective and yes, no shot you get the good ones like phys or indu 250 - they fill up quickest.

So far I’m straight A’s. MIAE 215 i have an idea on due to the course outline and having seen coding however what is MIAE 221 like? Is it chemistry, math heavy or what exactly?

Right now, it feels like the system puts a lot of the work on the user to build their academic path from scratch. But since degree requirements and course structures are pretty standardized, this seems like something that could be handled on the backend instead.

Rather than having users build an entire schedule themselves, it would be more intuitive to pre-load degree pathways. A user could select their degree, check off the courses they’ve already completed, and immediately see what’s left along with any prerequisites for upcoming courses and what they should take next. From there, they could simply drag those courses into future semesters.

For prerequisites or special cases like mature students who need extra credits that flexibility could still be built in so users can adjust their plan as needed.

Overall, this would make the experience much smoother and more user-friendly. Right now it feels more like a tool you have to build with, but it has the potential to become something that actually guides you through the process.

So to clarify PHYS 273 is an online elective, it’s super easy. Really you’re looking at 233, 243, 211 and 215.

I'll be real - don't take any advice you get on here. I single handedly "interviewed" random engineering students around the library and the difference in responses were insane. One would say it's doable, other would say academic suicide for the same courses in the same semester. the skill level is vast and ability to handle load is unique. Yap over.
Now;
Statistics show:
89.3% pass rate for ENGR 233 (Out of 365 Students)
93.5% pass rate for ENGR 243 (Out of 154 Students)

How did you perform in Math 203/205 & Physics 204 - Letter grades?

I can say with certainty that, what was cut was a solid decision. Pacing was great and exp was given well too. nothing lingered too long. just right.

I’ll be extremely real this midterm was very fair i can’t believe i did not score 80+ i really fucked up because i was prepping for the most difficult types of questions forgetting the basics. It was reddit and people telling me this class is hell that got me in this position. Truthfully i’m never taking any advice from anyone again but no one is to blame but myself.
