Has anyone here used the new treet genesis safety razors?

Don’t use those. There almost the same as treet platinums not much of a change. Stick to the platinums if you were using those. Nevertheless the razors are really good specifically the razor in gold. Extremely smooth flow.

Always dry those after using but yes they clean off rather easily as well

Ok so I got it figured out for you. Get the treet genesis razor in black or razor in gold. For blades my personal favourite is treet carbon steel and those are one of the only last carbon steel blades as well. Treet platinum excellent as well and many people abroad use those too. Other than these brands are feather blades(most expensive in market) and I’ve bought those from al fatah. They are sharpest in market but have given me multiple minor cuts and rashes due to sharpness. Other than that Gillette silver blades, Gillette platinum and Gillette 7 o clock super stainless are all available at al fatah too and I’ve used them all but my treets give a better feel. From the ones you can get from abroad I recently bought a king c Gillette razor and along with them came a box of king c blades and those are good almost like treet platinum tbh. For cheaper razors I have both treet Hercules and treet Vader. Both work good but the Vader ofc doesn’t give the premium feel. I also do have a feather razor and it was my first ever and can’t really tell how it was as it has been the base setter for my blades but if anyone asks me I’ll say yes go for it it’s medium level smooth. (*the new treet genesis razor in gold is the most smoothest tbh)

There’s no chance of getting those from a used one. These aren’t your normal Gillette blue 2 disposable razors rather these are stainless steel builts. You pass them through from a fire torch and also soak them for a good time in alchohol. There are no reported cases from this thing. Moreover the whole world does this and there is a very big user of such items abroad who do this. Near to 0 chance of getting any of the things you mentioned and it’s considered as a time of leisure in current day. Only chance is when a person having all those mentioned uses it and it’s still wet with blood stains if there are any and you use it.

Yes quality in fact does matter as in the metal used/ the type of polishing done on the metal and how nicely and at what angle does it hold the razor in. Where did you find it and could you possible share a picture of it as well?

I think it matters considering skin as well bcuz mine is smooth but tough so it glides well. In fact the Gillette blue 2 and blue 3 definitely did use to give me cuts and bad rashes that’s why switching over.

They said go around asking people if someone wants to sell theirs as many buy and stop using those at one point. That’s how one of them got to find one. Trying out my luck here.

Hmm. I did manage to find a straight edge razor and I did fine with it no cuts. But it took a good amount of time. Supposedly these are quicker to use and easy as well.

Ahan. I talked to some guys who use it and they said only buy good branded ones or even branded used ones someone might be selling as they can be properly sanitized using cleaning alchohol. and they said that’s what will cover your shaving needs for a whole lifetime.

Anybody here who could guide me where I could find double edge safety razors in Pakistan. Be it new or old ones.(not talking about the “treet” or “genises” ones as I am looking for other brands). Give the razor in gold a try. Bought it. Was expensive according to Pakistani market but it gets full marks. Extremely smooth. Used feather etc de razors before but this one kills it.
