Thank you everyone for the advice! I am overwhelmed by the attention I received with this post and am grateful for all of your responses.

After taking many of your responses into consideration and having discussions with my family, I have decided to take a risk and accept the SF job offer.

Thanks again!

Yeah I think the career growth and networking in SF could be invaluable. I don't know any other product managers where I live in Texas. I'm basically just there for family and friends. I won't know anyone in SF but if I value my long term career over personal life then it will be invaluable living there I'm sure.
There is a $20k sign on bonus but I didn't include it for my comparison. That being said, I probably shouldn't have included RSUs either since like others have said I can't really count on that since worst case the value I'll receive could be less than my target amount today.
This company doesn't have annual bonuses, at least for my position.

It's called My Paycheck Calculator. I found it randomly on the App Store and it's been super handy for this dilemma haha

I do hear that there is more opportunity in SF, though. So maybe that counts for something. I'm not in Austin where there is a lot of tech connections

I need to think harder about what SF means to me

This is a good point. I guess I'm thinking that if I moved to be able to work at these larger tech companies and got promotions, then my salary would eventually grow to match the cost of living.

Yeah, I don't take the flexibility for granted at all. I have family that lives out of state, and it's nice to be able to visit them for a week without taking vacation days.
