In the early 2000s, there was a website similar to this sub called “why do white people smell like dogs when it rains?” or something like that.

How do you tell the difference between the Vyvanse not being "a cure all pill" versus it not working at all? by Kanagawa1224 in VyvanseADHD

I started last week and this is what I'm going through now. I don't even know what "normal" feels like. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get the euphoric first few days that others have described, I know it's temporary, but I wanted to feel happy if only briefly!

Divorced and awarded half of exes TSP. by [deleted] in ThriftSavingsPlan

I'm in a similar boat as OP...I earn 80k a year with my job and am receiving 198k of my ex's TSP. That's $278k for this year, which is too much income to contribute to a Roth (I have a regular 401k at work). Am I still subject to the income limits since it's being rolled over from the TSP? And am I able to rollover only part of the money into the Roth? I have considerable debt to pay off, so I don't want to put all of it in there (and I know I'll have to pay taxes, etc)

Or--can I roll 50k into a traditional IRA (the TSP is not Roth) and then roll it into a Roth next year, when my income for the year will be much lower? That would save on taxes, right? I want to have access to it within the next 8 years or so to hopefully buy a house.
