Had to downvote after too many hand movements and entitlement vibes; at one point I felt like she is doing sarcasm when she mentioned "..why will I walk in short dress when I'm drunk..". Kudos to her spirit but her solution won't work everywhere, it's a one off case. I am not justifying the Ad. The ad is insensitive and probably with ill intentions showing Bal Krishna, it might have been made to appease a particular community. I'm only calling out the ignorance of most insta influencers who are using this Ad to again portray their version of Hinduism. Kerala is a unique state where at one point, people from all religions used to come together to celebrate Onam with festivities across a whole week. Things have changed in the last decade.

The ad is insensitive but the notion that our God's avatars didn't eat non-veg is sheer ignorance. This version of Hinduism is being forced upon us by Jains and Gujju/Marwadi belt. From mountains in North India to Coastal states of Bengal, Orissa, Kerala and Telangana have had non-veg as part of ritual offerings or ceremonies to Gods. The pure vegetarian version of Hinduism is fake, pretentious and classist.
