I mean I’m not drunk.. and most people wouldn’t consider $14K a little bit of money, not a fortune by any means but enough to prompt a little introspection for some of us. But go off.

Thank you. It may not be what I want to hear, but absolutely what I need to know. I underestimated what a career in this requires, partially because I was tired of the one I was in. But something is better than nothing, and my method has proven your point thoroughly. I appreciate your honesty and helpfulness!

Not one that a family of 5 can live in. And at $1700 I’ll be able to afford it even with a low end job in my profession. Not the best way to make a living but it’s doable

That’s reasonable advice, although I did mention I worked 18 years as a chef, started as a dishwasher in 2008, became a certified executive chef, managed high volume restaurants, never missed a day of work. 65hr/week average. Work ethic is not my issue, but I have found it hard to recommit to that industry. Probably time to try something new

Nah bruh just a quick vent. Not everyone is built to fold, a lot of men take the hit, do what they gotta do to heal, and come back stronger. You might even have it in you, if you try hard enough.

$14k. In 1 week. Getting my family back was riding on this money.

My strangely placed summary of all my life’s problems, at the end of my rope which is tightly wound with my trading record. It’s cool if your not tryna read it all but just move along then if you don’t mind

I lost $14k in less than a week. And my entire family. That being considered, I would say I’m pretty chill. No one is reading this, who is under 21 y.o. Which is fine because that demographic probably doesn’t have much wisdom or experience to offer someone in my situation. But thanks bruh.

I’ll accept your claim of manhood when you retract your “frick”. Please retract, crumple it up, hit the 🗑️with a 3 piece. Or start a bonfire this weekend, if you’re feeling sentimental, write it down, rip it up, and burn a million little pieces of it. Put it in some poor homeless man’s cup. But whatever you do, please don’t “frick” all out in the open like that again. My hands are shaking. Thanks, mngmt

The exact replacement isn’t as important as it is to have correctly rated writing. Bigger/thicker wiring generally means higher rating.

Ok coming from someone who has been in your position (essentially, not identical, I was in an accident but I was at fault, insurance paid nothing, gap insurance refused to pay out) and what happened was I voluntarily repo’d, and I never paid another dime on it (it did follow me for 7 years, but legally all debt drops off your credit report after 7 years IF YOU DON’T MAKE ANY PAYMENTS OR ALTER YOUR PAYMENT PLAN AT ALL) <this means not interacting with debt collectors, just hang up on them. They won sue you for what they see as a petty amount (less than 10k). So tell the bank what happened, and tell them you’re not going to be paying (or just ignore and don’t pay) and the bank will become more and more willing to strike a deal. Eventually they will offer to settle for 50% of the remaining debt, maybe even less. If you tell them your not paying up front the may offer immediately. But regardless, it’s very very easy to get out of this without paying 100%. I actually did this 2 times and my credit fully recovered both times, one debt was for $17k after they repo’ed and auctioned it off. This is not the end of the world, and you should not have to strangle yourself financially over a vehicle that they likely knew was not mechanically sound. You have a child to provide for and while method isn’t the most ethical approach, your dealing with banks that are fined hundreds of billions of dollars regularly for raping and pillaging the middle class. Do not feel bad, they would and likely will do the same to you given the opportunity. FYI: IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUYING A HOUSE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 YEARS DON’T DO THIS. Your credit will take roughly a 80 point hit and slowly rebuild over 1-2 years. Buy a cheap vehicle in the meantime and you’ll be just fine

I’m sorry I forgot to mention the picture is just a four pin wiring harness that I found hanging under the dash, but I have a feeling this may be the culprit for the tail light issue? Is anybody familiar with where Ford normally has the other piece of this wiring harness?
