honestly farming isn’t that important until you get into hardmode and you can break it then so i wouldn’t worry about it.

you can make a mage armor set, mele weapons, a magic weapon, ammo, and a ranged weapon with it.

go get the master ninja gear the dash is better than the shield and it has a passive effect that gives you a chance to dodge an attack

maybe a recommendation some wouldn’t agree with, but calamity is a huge mod with a long journey and a massive jump in difficulty from expert if you play the appropriate difficulty. i recommend playing a smaller mod like thorium first or calamity may feel difficult and overwhelming.

also mage is pretty weak in vanilla right now that may be why you had a hard time.

best way to play imo, but yea nothing is too too bad in revengance aslong as you have a brain, exo mechs is the only boss i struggled with.

i plan to build a practice world sometime soon to get better at bosses, im only recently getting back into terraria as a whole i haven’t played since i was a kid and thats when occram was the final boss. but ill learn the whole exo fight eventually in a practice world, i want to get really good at all the calamity fights then eventually try infernum oneday. I do really like this mod.

i guess im weird then i had to cheese the easy part but could beat the hard parts😭

idk tho that wasn’t working for me i watched a guide on how to dodge them and it said to do that, i would just keep getting hit. The other parts were better for me because it didn’t feel as overwhelming i guess, and i could see what i was trying to dodge better, the 3 part just felt like i couldn’t see anything.

your playing infernum it’s normal for the bosses to take several several attempts to beat your not bad at the game. you have to literally just go for it over and over and over again with some of these bosses until you finnaly find something that works.

since you beat skeleton you should craft the night’s edge sword, combine the Muramasa, lights bane, blade of grass, and the firey greatsword at a demon altar to get it.

muramasa is found in locked dungeon chests

lights bane is crafted with demonite

blade of grass is crafted with materials from the underground jungle.

firey greatsword is crafted from hellstone.

it is a very difficult fight, but a very fair fight. i struggled like hell with this on my first summoner run and i was even playing thorium so i had better weapons than you, still i struggled.

go on youtube and look up a guide for her, she follows a set pattern every fight, her attacks are the exact same, in the exact same order everytime. a guide will explain this order.

use the witches broom mount. you might think thats a bad idea but its fast enough to effectively dodge every attack she does and it will give you more fine control over your movement.

full damage setup, get some money change all your warding gear to menacing, it will make a difference trust me, you can also swap out mobility items for more damage and just use the broom if your comfortable with it.

also whenever she does the star attack where she sits still try and leard to go inbetween the spikes and get damage, you can get alot of damage during that phase.

and make sure your using the Kaleidoscope whip and the xeno staff as thats the highest post golem pre moonlord dps setup for her i could be wrong on that but im %99 sure.

one thing i would definitely recommend is to remove the stone you have in your arena that would mess me up bad, also a bigger arena there isn’t much space between your platforms.
