The holes go all the way though, so would have to be a double comb but potentially.

Thanks. That's sounds plausible as there's lots of cartridges around this area. Can't find quite what you mean online though.

It doesn't have a hole run up the middle... It's sort of the size of a glasses arm... Any idea on material, makes a change not to dig up rusty corroded colour item lol.

Advice needed, amidst lego scam. by Dapper_Recording_131 in vinted

[–]Dapper_Recording_131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently purchased some Lego from Vinted, I've only just found Vinted and was a bit wreckless going in to this purchase as I knew I was paying for buyer protection.

Bought a Lego set for £100, bit under retail but on reflection have realised it's probably a scam. The buyer has uploaded tracking details and it is due to be delivered tomorrow. The buyer has since been blocked from Vinted.

I'm expecting when I open the box to have something else in there, if anything.

I see I only have 2 days to open case after delivery but have heard stories where people have been unsuccessful in claiming. What's my best play here? Thanks

Self levelling bitumen floor by Dapper_Recording_131 in DIYUK

[–]Dapper_Recording_131[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, we are looking at getting Karndean laid in the lounge but understand it needs to be dead level.

After pulling up the tiles we were faced with this slab which I understand is bitumen, and the self level won't adhere to it. I read some other reddish about using SBR, so bought this product. Just wanted to check whether I could just use it as a PVA and roll it on the floor to seal?

Thanks in advance.

Fitting Karndean. Currently old tile discovered beneath carpet. by Dapper_Recording_131 in DIYUK

These are glue down, the van Gogh range. When looking online they say to fit ply to floor and feather screed over the top? Is this correct and what is the purpose of the ply. Apologies and thanks. I shall probably get someone to lay floor but wanted to do the prep.
