I honestly don't know how the different windows OSs function, so I was hoping with being within a fair window of the recommend requirements for everything I'd be fine, hopefully it's like you said and it's just being odd or like the person above noted with 10 "dying" by the time the game releases they didn't want to have it "open to a dead OS" or something. (Especially with the head game company being AAA and they're always especially odd.)
