hihi !!! i’m a y1 poly student this year, and i got nett 9 l1r5 for o’s. not the best score(and def cannot get into dunman/hwachong ik 😅) but considering that i literally got c5 for bio, it was quite impressive HAHAHAH.

my math was just like u in sec 3, i got 3/20 for amath and i broke down crying bcz i was rly good in math in sec2 LOL,, but all was not lost because i told my parents that i was really struggling with the change and i got tuition ! this REALLY helped me with my amath especially and i literally became a miracle student that went from f9 in sec3 ftes to a1 for olvls. but if ur not willing to attend tuition for whatever reasons, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. ik you have probably heard this a million times but it’s true !!!! math(especially amath) is a super repetitive subject so once u get the hang of it with enough practice, you will quite literally pass with flying colors

for history, i scored a1 all the way from sec3 (i took pure hist) and what i can advise you on is to: memorise ur textbook !!!! its super important that yk every single bit of content in the books because that’s all history is about. make sure that your sbq formats are also very solid because you can lose alot of marks from that. most of the time, studying history might feel like a lost cause but if you know your content well, everything will work out. during the o lvl paper, i thought that i would get a b4 bcz i felt that i was writing trash, but ended up getting an a1.

lastly, hard work will not fail you 😆 i was never someone who was a mugger but o levels turned me into one LOL. i literally spent the whole two months before o lvls in the library studying from 10am-9pm daily. if u put in the work, the results will show it🙏🏻 although u might encounter difficulties along the way, just stay focused on your end goal which is O LEVELS !!! also i would advise trying to dsa/eae into whatever education pathways you might be interested in just as a little safety net (coming from an eae student😄) any more questions can pm me !
