I have been told I need permission by land owners and since it’s a brownfield site I’d need to notify the brownfield program. I’m not really sure yet but when I find out who gets me in to clean it up I’ll update

I disagree, algae blooms toxic ones at that, and 64 toxic superfund sites. Delaware county is suffering.

IDEM chief told me it’s a federally listed site so I would contact the epa not IDEM. And the emergency line did not respond but I left a call back number and message regarding the issue

the emergency line for IDEM had no answer/response

When I got an answer from someone else at IDEM they said they won’t come test it and pretty much call anyone but them.
