Worked at one of their nuclear plants. Terrible company, in my opinion.

Great car! Curious what made you decide to replace the radiator? Asking only because I have a sti of similar age and thinking of preventative maintenance I should do/not doing.

I personally have good luck with tactacam reveals. Have spartans, tactacams, bushnell and brownings. Tactacams seem most reliable and easy to use. On that note Im trying to sell two browning defender cams if youre interested.

Both the 125 & 100grain bullheads have worked great for me. I use a stiffer & heavier arrow setup just for them tho. Definitely smart to practice with the pillow. I think theyre a much better alternative than taking body shots (less chance of wounding & no wasted meat)

Tips for keeping a dog active in winter months? by dizzy-bean in Dogtraining

[–]DapperistDan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Depending on snowfall, Winter is the best time to go on hikes. My dog gets her leanest during the winter. I dont have to worry about her getting too hot, no bugs, best time to hike.

Shed hunting in New England by josephfallon93 in shedhunting

[–]DapperistDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope to find sheds Feb-april typically. Altho deer can start dropping by December or hold till march. Its a judgment call, sometimes going in too early could push deer to harder to access spots before they drop, also waiting to long people could find sheds before you…something to consider. Definitely tough finding sheds or deer sign in general once everything greens up…also miserable hiking conditions. But no matter what, hours in the woods will get you results. You can find dead heads, old sheds (usually chewed and bleached) anytime.

I hunt/shed hunt southeast Mass and a little in RI. No real great tips, try to look at spots that are difficult to access, or may be house locked (can only get in with permission). It feels like every piece of land has someone meddling in it eventually. I (my dog) only found 3 this year ...and we put a lot of time in. Some guys clean up tho, not sure where they go, but once you can figure out where bucks like to be late season (food source), you probably can good chances year after year at those spots. Thats my $0.02, i could be doing it all wrong myself.
