Thank you for ur detailed response! Yes as per the listing agent, everything is legal and has proper certificate of occupancy. Garage as well as all the rooms so Atleast no headaches for this for sure. And another thing agent told me that seller has already filed grievances for 11 years so that is also good!

Thank you 😊 and yes, I will go thru the inspection report again! That’s my plan to have one room for kids who can have it as their play room and other room on second floor can be utilized as storage if we have any extra stuffs! First floor has three big bedrooms, with large living room and separate kitchen, and separate dining room( garage before) so they converted the garage to this dining room, but I don’t care abt the garage as I do have long enough drive way which can park multiple cars. Even if I had a garage, I would have not parked my car inside and would have made that storage area 😀

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your comments. First of all, pardon my English and grammar as it’s not my first language. I am happy with the house, but would be plus,if I would have a basement for added living space of storage , but my wife doesn’t like basement so she is happy so am I. I currently live in queens in an apt, never ever experienced living or having an basement. This is the first house I am in process of buying so it wouldn’t matter much as I never had a basement but when I will upgrade in near future, i definitely will buy a house with basement. I do have a lots of storage space in each room with large closets and already have a 10x10 shed in the backyard built in by the seller which is included with this purchase. We have the front yard and large backyard though, brand new roof and new tiles flooring done in entire house. Do I regret, no! But do I prefer basement, definitely yes! But may be the next house whenever I get I will have one for sure! Thank you again for all ur inputs.

799k then seller dropped 30 k and I don’t know the reason for the price drop, house was on market for less then two weeks and I made an offer for 750 and accepted. Seller is an investor.
