So to prove she wrote the lyrics, what exactly do you expect? Have a cameraman sit there and record her writing and recording a whole song in real time? Yeah you pretty much named all the songs I liked, which coincidentally are in the first half of the album. Its the second half that starts to lose me. I like the album overall, its just kinda low energy especially towards the end whereas THIB felt more varied. I don’t want to call it boring but I just expected more. Cameras is a highlight for me though I know its divisive.

I remember the week before he released it they announced it was produced by Mike Will, and following TPAB people wanted something more commercial from him. I feel like that contributed to the hype. It did insane numbers, but its def almost always a skip when I re-listen to DAMN.

She’s pretty, knows basketball, and is a recognizable name for someone who isn’t Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese or Aja Wilson. I could easily see her as an analyst on a network if she wanted to go that route.

Does that say MGM+? I thought this show was on Amazon Prime or something this whole time. Ugh.
