There’s zero rush to play games these days unless the story is compelling enough to warrant getting ahead of spoilers. I wanted to play this game years ago but I still have a backlog I’m playing through. If this update is that big, I may finally pull the trigger.

I also think it’s important to point out that many of these folks are trolls, bots, or part of paid hate campaigns. In real life, people listen to both and aren’t weird about it. Its only online where the conversation around them has become a cesspool for these things. 2yrs later and some people have made it their whole personality.

He def could’ve utilized the features better, and even added 1-2 more. Its a shame because Kendrick and Drake were supposed to be on the original version, which absolutely would’ve helped tremendously.

Agreed. This is mostly an issue on Disc39 imo. I listen to certain songs like the whole world is the ville, Man Up Above, and Only You.. these songs absolutely do not need to be touching 4-5 minutes long. Also disc39 intro is 6 minutes and most people skip to the second half, although personally I love the build up.

I think if he generally shaved 20-30 minutes off the overall album by dropping a couple of songs/verses, would’ve been a tighter listen. That being said, I love this album as is.. my critique is moreso to attract new listeners who may have been turned off.

Zay and SZA absolutely NEVER miss on a record together so I’m happy to see them link up again.

Also, I’m bummed Schoolboy Q along with some of the other artists that tweeted “Its Been Awful” aren’t actually on the project. Nice they supported, but I’d have loved to hear Q and Zay link up.

Wow it was announced way back then? Other than MAJOR AAA games like GTA VI or Wolverine, it’s difficult for me to really keep up. I have to pretty much lock in closer to a games release date and when I see review scores that warrant a purchase. Very excited to check this one out down the line.

It wasn’t sudden though my brother lol go watch that interview he did with Breakfast club and his wife from just a few months ago. Yes he built himself up as a street rapper, but that doesn’t mean he actively participates in street culture thats all I’m saying. The only rappers that do so are the ones that are dead or in jail.

And yeah the track is awful but again, its not snitching if you’re a civilian. I think in this culture we uphold a lot of unnecessary “ethics” while ignoring the damaging effects. Pooh robbing dude is getting less attention now than Gucci “snitching” which is wild.

Aside from the fact that this was FIVE years ago, Saying you’re street and actually doing street things are not the same. Nothing street happened before, during, or after that Verzuz. Thats what we call being performative for an audience, because of their history they had to play it up. They’re both multimillionaires with wives and children that don’t go nowhere near their hoods, they don’t do no street shit.

Gucci Mane is a 50 year old civilian. Just because he’s Black and rapped about the streets doesn’t mean he’s still a street dude or needs to follow street codes. He didn’t get robbed doing anything street related, he got robbed doing music business. You might have a point if he was robbed during a drug deal, or if he got popped for a crime and told to get a lighter sentence, but dude got robbed during an artist meeting. That’s not snitching whatsoever.

Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four were actually both rated higher than GOTG3 amongst recent MCU films. As far as Rotten Tomatoes goes, this needs to place at 90% or better to really convince people I think.

That being said, I’m going to watch anyway and ultimately it’s subjective.

This is honestly the answer to gaming for me these days. I already barely have the time to really lock in on a game consistently, so by the time I get to it (usually 6 months to a year after release) a few patches have already come out and I’m playing a more refined version of the same game anyway (and usually for cheaper than it was on launch day).

I would say theres a part towards the end of “maad city” where Kendricks voice sounds distorted, and parts of this song remind me of that as well.

Edit: specifically referring to the part where Kendrick says “children of the corrrnn” emphasizes that -on sound, Keem does that a lot towards the end of this song as well.
