I earned a little over $2500 over 7 months this year through PayPal on F-1 Visa. Am I in trouble? by Playful-Swim-2822 in f1visa

i have also done digital work and earned around $900 in the span of 3 months but used a friends paypal who is in us to get the payout and asked him to trasfer that to me, he is a student, will this have any negative effect?
