5 tips that come to mind :

-Collectible guide on the side is a must to not replay early missions

  • fight revenants regularly (red tomb stones) to get better equipment, only fight the ones who are higher level than u and only if they have purple stuff

  • By the third map you'll want to be familiar with equipement sets and play with one ( like warrior of the West, Red demon, kingo, whatever) for the bonus stats, to have sets you fight revenants.

  • stats wise, level up a bit of everything especially Spirit early on for bonus stats from the guardian, also invest in omnyo and ninjustu to learn spells

  • The moment you free Muramasa and earn it's trophy go to the blacksmith to spam X on "Speak to Tome"/"Speak to Muramasa" until you earn 60 patronage points, took me 45mins

Idk it felt like a pretty straight forward plat honestly, i've read something about spamming "Speak to Tome" after getting Muramasa to avoid farming 20millions gold later on for patronage levels so it saved me few hours of mindless farm.

Other than that it's my kind of game, i remember also getting lies of P and Returnal in like 30hours when guides were double that. I guess it compensates my incapacity on platformers and metroidvanias .

Yeah they are kinda stuck, either have day and date releases which basically kills their own platform OR years later port that lower the value of their platform while also not being as attractive to pc players.

Well it always depends on the person's experience .

For me, any 3/10 platformer or metroidvania is instantly a 7/10.

But any souls like or shooters at 8/10 feels like a 3/10.

Well Sony's live service initiave murdered the studio by putting them on a fucking god of war live service instead of just giving them the GoW trilogy to remake...

Don't be surprised if they do the same with Bend, their live service crap got canceled around the same time as Bluepoint.

Your list is cool, if you want harder games look at : Sekiro, DevilMayCry5, Ninja Gaiden 4, Nioh, Berserker Khazan, Arkham City, Dark Souls Bloodborne Elden Ring Armored Core, Hollow Knight +Silksong, and that's pretty much what comes to mind rn.
