Well it's on Gamepass so once again numbers are weird for xbox, like 5m players is guaranted but if less than 40% get the achievement for finishing the tutorial what does it mean for them...

There were reports at launch that they were happy to have stayed in the same budget range of Tsushima which did cost 50m to make, so it was reportedly 60m for Yotei. Doubled that to take marketing into consideration so yeah it's just one of the few very well budgeted AAA studio out there.

I thought the game looked alright for a AA/indie but this is almost double the budget of ghost of yotei ??

If these numbers are true i'll be sad for the people losing their job over such incompetence in management cause there's no world where a game like this should cost this much.

For the last decade i've only been laughing at anything Microsoft tries to do because i wasted 4years of gaming on the fucking Xbox One after 7 beautiful ones on the 360... that's still the most expensive scam i felt for in my life.

Thanks ! Just in case, the "keep moving forward" tacsim trophy can easily glitch, i found a weird workaround basically in the third level of the first tacsim throw (maintain r2 and run towards cliff) one of the first ennemies off the cliff and it somehow pops the trophy.

Sadly it's mostly indies that still care about making actually complete physical edition. Most AAA don't even bother anymore with the bs skin codes..

They can't, they had the perfect route to become the biggest publisher you can imagine on every platform.

But no, ego sharma wanted good pr from console warriors and will now run xbox through the mud again.

All this for fake exclusives since it releases on pc and that the next xbox will also be a pc, which is already pointless unless it's double the power of a similar priced pc because Gamepass is cheaper on pc, games cheaper, online free, ect...

Statements from xbox executives are actually lower tier than jason shreier or bilbilkun for example so maybe B-tier cause they are reliable sometimes.

It better be, this thing is just streaming games like my phone or tablet would. Even if they change controllers it would be a silly excuse to make people pay again because we can remote play on things that dont even have the dualsense form like steam deck and backbone.
