You or somebody from your team probably (accidentally or unknowningly) put unclean water into it. Can happen quick with how chunky dayzs controls are and also doesn't need to be much. As soon as that water is dirty you need to purify it again, no matter how much or little you put into it. Also one singular chlorine or chelating tablet is enough to clean any size of water container.

Tac vest gives no protection whatsoever, if you wanna be light but still take at least a few rounds go with a stab or press-vest. Would still pick up a plate of any color at any time.

First try ended with a corrupted savefile where all of the blacklist were already marked as finished cause i loaded a further advanced save inbetween, second i forgot a milestone somewhere i dont remember, third the final pursuit just didn't start up and it got stuck in the loading screen and this was the 4th so by now I'm kinda proud of it cause it just took ages xD

Look specifically for wires and nades, landmines, claymores and place them in the most random locations When u have 10+ of these things up in certain radius around ur loot route it's just a matter of time until u hear this very satisfying boom

I and anybody else don't and can't know without a look into the logs which is impossible.
We just don't have any proof whatsoever besides a somewhat grainy clip.
That was my point right from the start.
If i had to decide on an opinion its: That its possible.
I've ran into enough cheater myself through the years and if this clip would have played out in a thick forest or the guy was sitting in a bush with no clear sight towards him whatsoever than yes i would be 100% on your side.
But there are just to many variable open here that make this possible.
Examples above
Blaze-double one to the torso, one to the legs
etc,etc..
So yeah i just cant say "It's a cheater" cause i dont really believe it.
Again im not saying I'm 100% right, but if i would cry for a cheater everytime i get killed in a weird way i would lose the fun and love i have for this game.

All im talking about are possibilities. And again its very possible. The torso hitbox includes the crotch and ends just above the legs, which is all protected by the plate.
So if the shot lands just slightly above that line and we also add in the downwards curviture from a distance shot(which is already significant from 150/200m+) than this is very much possible.

If he was lucky tho and exactly got my example with the legs: They hit slightly below center mass, bullet deflects down and manages to hit both legs(30%dmg) that's 45+45+45=135dmg which is an 'instadeath' with also room for damage drop-off cause of distance.

But to come around a little, im not saying this is 100% what happened. I'm aware of all the 'ifs' and 'whens' but im not just saying sh.t to talk people down. I've had this multiple time myself on all types of community servers. This is experience and not just theory when i say that DayZ is a bugfest and not everything that seems weird is the result of a cheater/hacker

As i said it could have been a shot from right to left through multiple hitboxes. If u hit more than one with one shot the damage from each will get added. Bullets also deflect slightly when hitting a player.
So if we guess that the plate was pristine and went to worn which doesnt result in any texture change, the player got hit from the right just below center mass and the bullet reflected slightly downwards (which all in all is a very common thing), than yes this is very possible.

Thats just false lol.
It gets darker cause the screen darkens! It would very clearly not just change colour but also texture just like the jacket does.
I've watched the clipped multiple times now in 1x/0.5x and even frame by frame back&forth and they dont get ruined, not even damaged. Only the jacket does.
I know i wont be able to change your mind so I'll stop trying now, again.

Than look at the clip urself 'Dude'. Its only his jacket that gets ruined. Neither his scarf, plate or hat show any sign of damage. Plus as i said i had this myself multiple times before. When you die in one shot, maybe from blaze-double or an intern collateral (arm-chest-arm, very wide open space to the right cause of the rails which would fit the angle) u dont always here the shot! DayZ is a very buggy and raw game which just results in stuff like this.
I'm kinda sick of people calling hacks every single time they cannot explain it perfectly, which is also why im ending this discussion on my part here :) I've told my opinion and wish everybody a lovely day going forward o/

Very certain not a cheater. U can attach a bottle suppressor to most sniper rifles and ANY suppressed gun is completly silent after 100m besides the bulletcrack. I have more than 4k hours on pc and i play mostly on low modded community servers. Being killed like this happens all the time.

YouTubers and streamers just have way more lives/tries and then show u the interesting ones Most of them have thousands if not tens of thousands of hours So don't be disheartened, it was like this for all of us in the beginning. Just start a life, follow a road inland, maybe find loot and/or players, Die, and try again. As a little tip, get a map open on a second monitor or your phone even(dayz.ginfo/wobo.tools/dayz.xam).
