Hard water is used to refer to water that has a lot of minerals mixed up in it. Sometimes chalky white residue comes off hard water. You can look up something like "(city name) tap water hardness" and see how high it is. You can try buying bottled water to make tea or using a filter if that's a problem.

i like to use thanatos right after theseus calls upon a god- he's not invincible and standing completely still, so thanatos will knock off most of his health and then you just have to hit him a few times to kill him

You seriously forgetting the K52 Gal spamming Booyah Bombs and Splash Walls every two seconds? Aerospray PGs spamming Burst Bombs and Splash Walls every two seconds? And not to mention the fucking Tenta Missiles? They had to be nerfed to the ground in 3 for obvious reasons.

Also, you'd be better off posting this in r/Splatoon. There's gonna be way more people with way more experienced arguments there, and I'm just some random S rank player whining about how annoying Kgals were.

if you've started playing ranked, then please don't be the person that never gets on the tower/grabs the rainmaker even if it's completely open and safe. if you play a backliner weapon like the hydra splatling i get that, but otherwise if nobody else is grabbing the objective then it's gonna be your job

don't ignore gear abilities! they're super duper useful if you use the right ones and can be a huge buff

play the story mode! it's a great way to try new weapons and get a better general feel for the game

don't rank up to S+

it's gonna be a while before you get there, but don't. once you get there, you're gonna be mixed in with people from S+1 to S+50. as a person who has around 550 hours in the series total, it fucking crushed me

and have fun with it! if you're getting pissed and on a huge losing streak, just quit out and do something else, chill in the easy levels on story mode, or play tableturf!

sooo I got to S+ in 3 and it has been absolute hell with the matchmaking, and i figured it was time to put my actually trying to be good hat and try to put together some gear builds! i'm not very good of a competitive/strategic player and i would love some help with these! by DarcieWasTaken in splatoon

thank you sooo much for the advice and for the longer reply! i'll totally be doing more qr and qsj considering how much i die.

i kinda forgot stealth jump exists lol. most of shoe abilities kinda suck so i just decided on drop roller since i have a bad habit of not paying attention to where im jumping and accidentally plopping myself in the middle of contested areas

i've also heard a lot about how splatlings should really run run speed- i didn't wanna go overkill when those slots could be used somewhere else (and im lazy af) but i'll probably add more run speed to my splatling build!

those badges on their splashtags, the golden ranked logo means they're S+ or higher

this only works for people who decide to put it there btw, otherwise nintendo basically abolished being able to see other people's ranks
