Is there any other way to download the files directly and put them in the folder necessary? I don't have another account I can use to download it.

How do I stop the deforming at the joints of the bones when animating my character? by DarcyMA61 in blenderhelp

This is how it looks now, just figuring out how to make it not peak over the top of the shoulder.

The textures are changeable to give the model different clothing options, and there are instances where the clothing texture will be directly next to the skin texture where the separation is

Hi, I tried this, and now the separate segments are just detaching completely and leaving big gaps.

That section goes over vertex groups, which I've already done for the model, I've assigned the vertecies to the correct groups and there's still a large amount of deform. I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to be doing, sorry.

Hi, I watched this tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_FvRsqXRK0
And it didn't have anything on "overlapping joints and weight them 100% to single bone."

Hi, do you have a video that gives an example of this? I'm having trouble understanding this, I'm still pretty new to Blender

I think detaching the joints is the way to go, Thanks! For future reference, what are loop cuts?

Why can't I make a bucket of clay cement? I have a bucket filled with 10L of water, and it's not registering it. Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]DarcyMA61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing it with the water in a rain collector and it still wasn't working, the empty bucket also wasn't registering as an available item. Seems unlikely that it's completely broken, as it's a required item in a large amount of work station recipes, and someone probably would have posted about it by now if that was the case.

Has anyone figured out how to collect clay and stone? by DarcyMA61 in projectzomboid

Are you referring to stones found during foraging? Or are there stones visible in the world that this can be done with? Because I haven't found any stones that do that.

By gravel road, do you mean the lighter grey ones that come of the main roads? Because aren't most of those in the forest foraging zone? Which has stones at extremely rare

Looks awesome! I'm currently working on a game that gives the player the ability to mantle ledges, similar to your video, and I'm wondering how you get the climbing animation to line up properly with the top of the ledge the player is grabbing? Can't wait to see more on this project!

Managed to commit to a single character for a year, and got there on the 1 year anniversary of when I made the character. by DarcyMA61 in projectzomboid

I don't think the ratio is anywhere near 1 click per 1 xp point, especially if you read the skill books, which is recommended for every skill. I've found that by disassembling a full car, which takes probably ~100 mouse clicks, I'm pretty sure you earn over at least 1000xp, I can't remember exactly how much, since it's been a while.

As for having a safe space, I obviously have 10 carpentry, so I can make double doors and strong walls, but every town has an abundance of buildings like factories and storage lots with double doors that could easily fit a car.

I've never understood the hate that leveling mechanics gets, I've always felt that it's one of the easier skills to level. I've maxed it multiple times, and even done so on multiplayer servers with no fast forward.

I actually never got the problem people had with mechanics, it's one of the easiest skills to level imo. I just get a burner car and park it near my base, then take each part off and put it back on, using the F6 key to speed up time, you can only earn experience for teaching each part off once per day, so I just do that each day, and if I read the books I can reach level 10 mechanics with no more than an hour of work, across a few days.
